Interest Free Credit - At Specs of Kensington we have an easy payment scheme to help you spread the cost of buying your spectacles over five months. We are happy to arrange a standing order when buying spectacles which have a value over £200. This option is available at no extra cost. All that we require is a deposot of a third of the total amount due and then you pay the balance in four equal monthly payments by standing order. For Example : Spectacles cost £270.00 Initial Deposit £90.00 and 4 Monthly Payments of £45.00

Standing Order This is a convenient way to spread the cost of your contact lenses, solutions and aftercare fee. When you register for standing order you pay a three month up front fee and start a standing order for regular monthly payments. You then receive six months supply of contact lenses. Not only is this convenient, it also saves you money as you pay internet comparable prices for your contact lenses.

Flexon - Memory Metal frames - If you are very rough on your glasses Flexon is the answer. They are great for parents of young inquisitive children who constantly grab their glasses, or for those of us who are slightly less careful with our glasses. Memory metal was discovered accidentally, several years ago, by metallurgists at the U.S. Naval Ordinance Lab. It was used in jet fighters, NASA research projects and a few medical products. However, the curious memory metal remained largely under utilized until Marchon recognised the significance of using the amazing material in eyewear. Flexon memory metal is extremely strong and light, 10 times springier than steel and 25% lighter than conventional metals. The frames are also more comfortable, as they maintain their adjustment and fit better. They also look new for longer than conventional metal eyewear as they won't kink and are corrosion resistant.

Nikon Lenses Nikon lenses are the Ultimate in Lens Technology. Every lens has a Hard Clear Coating on both surfaces, front and back, which consists of :- Anti-reflection layers - for eliminating unwanted reflections Scratch Resistant layer - for longer lasting lenses Water Repellent layer - for easier cleaning Nikon lenses are available in standard plastic lenses or High index lenses which can be used to make your lenses up to 40% lighter and 37% slimmer. Gator Optical Goggles - The solution for spectacle and contact lens wearers who enjoy swimming. Gator lenses are made of polycarbonate plastic and provide highly effective protection against UV-light (99%). A special and durable Anti fog-coating in the lens interior guarantees good visibility within a short time, even if there are considerable changes in temperature (air/water). The lens power corresponds to the required prescription and they give a broad field of vision.

Swimmers are exposed to a broad spectrum of chemicals applied to the water to prevent infections, so goggles are needed to protect the eyes. Goggles therefore need to fit well. Lamellar seals of flexible and skin-friendly silicone elastomer are used around the Gator lenses enabling them to fit various face shapes comfortably and securely.
